Open to All Literary Competition 2022 - MCTA Shillong

THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE GOLDEN JUBILEE SOUVENIR OF THE MCTA SHILLONG IS ORGANISING AN OPEN TO ALL LITERARY COMPETITION 2022 VIA ONLINE MODE ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS!

1. SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION
2. ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION ON THE TOPIC "HIGHER EDUCATION IN MEGHALAYA IN THE NEXT 50 YEARS: A VISION"     
3. POETRY WRITING COMPETITION ON THE THEME "EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO A BETTER LIFE"

GUIDELINES FOR THE COMPETITION

1. The competition is open to all the College students of Meghalaya (UG & PG). 
2. Stories/Essays/Poetries should be the original work of the writers and must not have been submitted to any other competition or platform. Plagiarised entry if detected shall be rejected. 
3. SHORT STORIES can be on any topic/theme whereas ESSAY and POETRY writing should be on the topic/theme as given. 
4. Words limit is below 2000 for Short Story and Essay and below 300 words for Poetry. 
5. All entries should be properly typed (computer/mobile or any other electronic gadget) and only soft copies in editable formats are accepted. The font should be New Times Roman (size 12) with line spacing of 1.5. 
6. Submission of scanned copies or in the form of photos is NOT ACCEPTABLE. 
7. The competition is on the basis of one candidate one item of competition. 
8. Competitors should write their Name, Semester, Department, College and Phone Number very clearly. 
9. Winners will be awarded prizes and certificates. 
10. Winning story/essay/poetry (first prize only) may be published in the Golden Jubilee Souvenir of the Association subjected to the consideration of the Editorial Board. Once it is considered for publication, the copyright of the material will be with the MCTA. 
11. The Organisers have an exclusive right to decide on any matter of the competition.
